The abacus is a bedside table that brings together historic character and modernism. We have re-used an existing solid wooden antique capital as the legs of the table. The traditional design of the leg juxtaposed against the clean modern lines composes itself comfortably.
Abacus brings together the skills and historic relevance of carpentry. The rear legs of the table, are turned meticulously by craftsmen based in Mysore .The stoic structure of Abacus, is perfect for low raised cots. Its height allows it be multifunctional, acting as an auxiliary table in all forms.

The Nook, uses one material, molding it to make a minimal and aesthetic side table. It has been designed to cater to be highly ascetic for the sleepy user, aiming to minimize the number of actions a person would make to reach their end function. Something as simple as sliding in a book, to opening a drawer. However aesthetically, it also allows one to place the table in both modern as well as traditional spaces.
